# Dimo Krastev

**Dimo Nikolaev Krastev** (Bulgarian: Димо Николаев Кръстев; born 10 February 2003) is a Bulgarian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)) or [midfielder](/source/Midfielder) for [Spartak Varna](/source/FC_Spartak_Varna).[1]

## Career

Krastev was born in [Burgas](/source/Burgas) to the former football player of [Neftochimic](/source/PFC_Neftochimic_Burgas), coach and current director of the Junior Academy [Nikolay Krastev](/source/Nikolay_Krastev_(footballer,_born_1979)). He made his professional debut for the team at the age of 15.[2] On 8 March 2019, he joined [Fiorentina](/source/ACF_Fiorentina)'s academy.[3]

On 12 July 2023 he joined [Catanzaro](/source/US_Catanzaro_1929) on loan.[4] On 24 January 2024, Krastev moved on a new loan to [Feralpisalò](/source/Feralpisal%C3%B2).[5] On 30 August 2024, Krastev was loaned to [Ternana](/source/Ternana_Calcio) in [Serie C](/source/Serie_C), with an option to buy.[6]

On 28 August 2025, Krastev was loaned out to fellow Serie C club [Siracusa](/source/Siracusa_Calcio_1924).[7]

## International career

Krastev has played for Bulgaria U15 and U17 teams, becoming the first captain of the latter.[8] In 2021, he was announced as captain of [Bulgaria U19](/source/Bulgaria_national_under-19_football_team).[9]

On 18 May 2021, he received his first call-up for [Bulgaria U21](/source/Bulgaria_national_under-21_football_team), for the friendly matches against [Russia U21](/source/Russia_national_under-21_football_team) and [Albania U21](/source/Albania_national_under-21_football_team) on 3 and 6 June.[10]

On 16 November 2022, Krastev made his debut for the senior [Bulgaria national team](/source/Bulgaria_national_football_team) in a 2–0 win against [Cyprus](/source/Cyprus_national_football_team) in a friendly match.[11]
