# Dieter Kolb

**Dieter Kolb** (born c. 1967) is a German [curler](/source/Curling), curling [coach](/source/Coach_(sport)) and sport manager.[2]

He participated in the [demonstration](/source/Demonstration_sport) curling events at the [1988 Winter Olympics](/source/Curling_at_the_1988_Winter_Olympics), where the German team finished in seventh place.

As a coach of German national women team he participated at the [2002 Winter Olympics](/source/Curling_at_the_2002_Winter_Olympics).[3]

From 2004 to 2015 he was a president of German Curling Association (Deutscher Curling Verband, DCV).[4][5][6] From 2000 to 2006 he was a vice-president of [European Curling Federation](/source/European_Curling_Federation).
