==Club career==
Moreno was born in [Bajo Baudó](/source/Bajo_Baud%C3%B3), [Chocó Department](/source/Choc%C3%B3_Department), but moved to [Bogotá](/source/Bogot%C3%A1) at an early age. He started his career with [América de Cali](/source/Am%C3%A9rica_de_Cali), graduating from the club's youth setup and making his debut with the first team during the [2010 season](/source/2010_Categor%C3%ADa_Primera_A_season).

In 2011, Moreno moved to fellow [Categoría Primera A](/source/Categor%C3%ADa_Primera_A) side [Independiente Santa Fe](/source/Independiente_Santa_Fe), but only featured rarely for the club during his spell at the club.
