# Dicerca juncea

***Dicerca juncea*** is a species of [metallic wood-boring beetle](/source/Metallic_wood-boring_beetle) in the family [Buprestidae](/source/Buprestidae).[2][3][4][5] It is [endemic](/source/Endemic) to the [Southeastern United States](/source/Southeastern_United_States),[6] with the type material from the Florida, Alabama, and Georgia.[1] It is an elongate beetle of about 14.2 mm (0.56 in) length.[1]
