There have been two **baronetcies** created for persons with the surname **Devitt**, both in the [Baronetage of the United Kingdom](/source/Baronetage_of_the_United_Kingdom). One creation is extant as of 2007.

The **Devitt Baronetcy**, of [Chelsea](/source/Chelsea,_London) in the [County of London](/source/County_of_London), was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 4 July 1916 for the shipowner [Thomas Devitt](/source/Sir_Thomas_Devitt,_1st_Baronet).[1] He was a senior partner in the firm of [Devitt and Moore](/source/Devitt_and_Moore), a manager of the [Orient Line](/source/Orient_Line) and the founder of the [Nautical College, Pangbourne](/source/Pangbourne_College). He was succeeded by his grandson, the second Baronet. As of 2007 the title is held by the latter's son, the third Baronet, who succeeded in 1995.

The **Devitt Baronetcy**, of [Pangbourne](/source/Pangbourne) in the [County of Berkshire](/source/County_of_Berkshire), was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 25 June 1931 for Philip Henry Devitt.[2] The title became extinct on his death in 1947.
