**Destell Pass**, sometimes incorrectly spelled **Destall Pass**, is a [mountain pass](/source/Mountain_pass) in the [Tahltan Highland](/source/Tahltan_Highland) of northwestern [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), Canada. It is located southeast of [Telegraph Creek](/source/Telegraph_Creek) and northwest of [Artifact Ridge](/source/Artifact_Ridge) at the southeastern end of [Mount Edziza Provincial Park](/source/Mount_Edziza_Provincial_Park).[1] Destell Pass has an elevation of 1,622 m (5,322 ft) and consists of a narrow rock cleft.[2] [Edziza obsidian](/source/Edziza_obsidian) of the [Armadillo Formation](/source/Armadillo_Formation) occurs at Destell Pass.[3]

This remote mountain pass in [Cassiar Land District](/source/Cassiar_Land_District) provides access between the broad upland valleys of [Raspberry Creek](/source/Raspberry_Creek_(British_Columbia)) and [Artifact Creek](/source/Artifact_Creek).[1][2] Its name means "going to camp" in the [Tahltan language](/source/Tahltan_language), referring to the fact that the pass was once used by the [Tahltan](/source/Tahltan) to gain access to hunting grounds in the Raspberry and Artifact creek valleys.[2]
