==Playing career==
After playing collegiate hockey with the [R.I.T. Tigers](/source/Rochester_Institute_of_Technology), Hahn made his professional debut with the [Elmira Jackals](/source/Elmira_Jackals) in the [United Hockey League](/source/United_Hockey_League). After five seasons in the [Central Hockey League](/source/Central_Hockey_League) as a cult player with the [Amarillo Gorillas](/source/Amarillo_Gorillas), Hahn embarked on a European career, signing initially in the [AL-Bank Ligaen](/source/AL-Bank_Ligaen) with the [Rødovre Mighty Bulls](/source/R%C3%B8dovre_Mighty_Bulls).

Hahn established himself in the [Deutsche Eishockey Liga](/source/Deutsche_Eishockey_Liga) as an offensive force, playing eight seasons with the [Frankfurt Lions](/source/Frankfurt_Lions), [Straubing Tigers](/source/Straubing_Tigers), and [ERC Ingolstadt](/source/ERC_Ingolstadt).
