The **Democratic Union of Croats** ([Croatian](/source/Croatian_language): *Demokratska zajednica Hrvata*, [Serbian](/source/Serbian_language): Демократска заједница Хрвата, **DZH**) is a [political party](/source/List_of_political_parties_in_Serbia) in [Serbia](/source/Serbia) representing the [Croat ethnic minority](/source/Croats_of_Serbia) in the province of [Vojvodina](/source/Vojvodina).

It was founded on 25 July 2007, and the party seat is in [Subotica](/source/Subotica), Age Mamužića 5 Street. Chronologically, DZH was fourth party of Croats from Serbia and third that emerged from dissatisfied fractions of the [Democratic Alliance of Croats in Vojvodina](/source/Democratic_Alliance_of_Croats_in_Vojvodina). Party President is [Đorđe Čović](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%C4%90or%C4%91e_%C4%8Covi%C4%87&action=edit&redlink=1) (since 9 November 2007).

## Participation in elections

On 25 April 2008, DZH signed an agreement with [Hungarian Coalition](/source/Hungarian_Coalition), in which it supported Hungarian Coalition on [Serbian parliamentary elections in 2008](/source/2008_Serbian_parliamentary_election).[1]

On [Presidential Elections](/source/2008_Serbian_presidential_election) in Serbia in 2008, DZH appealed its members to support [Boris Tadić](/source/Boris_Tadi%C4%87) in 2nd electoral round.[2]

On [Parliamentary Elections](/source/2008_Vojvodina_parliamentary_election) in the autonomous province of Vojvodina in 2008, DZH joined the list *[Zajedno za Vojvodinu](/source/Together_for_Vojvodina_(coalition)) - [Nenad Čanak](/source/Nenad_%C4%8Canak)*, led by [League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina](/source/League_of_Social_Democrats_of_Vojvodina).[3]
