The team last played in the [Liga de Ascenso de México](/source/Ascenso_MX), the second tier of the [Mexican football league system](/source/Mexican_football_league_system). The team played their home matches at the Estadio Unidad Deportiva Campus II de la UNACAR.

==History==
The team was founded on July 20, 2011 and originally played in the [Segunda División de México](/source/Segunda_Divisi%C3%B3n_de_M%C3%A9xico), the third tier of the Mexican football league system. On May 20, 2013 it was announced that the team owner Grupo Delfines bought the [Ascenso MX](/source/Ascenso_MX) club [Pumas Morelos](/source/Pumas_Morelos) and relocated the team from [Cuernavaca](/source/Cuernavaca), [Morelos](/source/Morelos) to [Ciudad del Carmen](/source/Ciudad_del_Carmen), [Campeche](/source/Campeche), thus creating the Delfines F.C. franchise.<ref>{{Cite web|url=http://mexico.cnn.com/deportes/2013/05/29/matan-al-toro-en-la-liga-de-ascenso|title = Últimas noticias de Estados Unidos, Latinoamérica y el mundo &#124; CNN en Español}}</ref>
