# Debren Pass

**Debren Pass** (Bulgarian: проход Дебрен, ‘Prohod Debren’ \'pro-hod 'de-bren\) is the ice-covered saddle of elevation 2245 m[1] on the east side of [Sentinel Range](/source/Sentinel_Range) in [Ellsworth Mountains](/source/Ellsworth_Mountains), [Antarctica](/source/Antarctica) separating [Mount Jumper](/source/Mount_Jumper) from the side ridge descending via [Evans Peak](/source/Evans_Peak). It is part of the glacial divide between [Rumyana Glacier](/source/Rumyana_Glacier) and [Patton Glacier](/source/Patton_Glacier).

The feature is named after the settlement of [Debren](/source/Debren) in southwestern [Bulgaria](/source/Bulgaria).

## Location

Debren Pass is located at [78°15′57″S 85°43′07″W](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=78_15_57_S_85_43_07_W), which is 3.6 km west of [Mount Jumper](/source/Mount_Jumper), 9.35 km north-northwest of [Mount Bearskin](/source/Mount_Bearskin), and 6.3 km northeast of [Evans Peak](/source/Evans_Peak).
