# David Kuiper

**David Kuiper** (born 12 December 1980 in [Aduard](/source/Aduard)) is a [rower](/source/Rower) from the [Netherlands](/source/Netherlands).[1]

Kuiper took part in the World Championships of 2007 in [Munich](/source/Munich) becoming tenth in the eights.[1] He qualified for the [2008 Summer Olympics](/source/2008_Summer_Olympics) in [Beijing](/source/Beijing) with the Dutch eights forming a team with [Olaf van Andel](/source/Olaf_van_Andel), [Jozef Klaassen](/source/Jozef_Klaassen), [Meindert Klem](/source/Meindert_Klem), [Rogier Blink](/source/Rogier_Blink), [Diederik Simon](/source/Diederik_Simon), [Olivier Siegelaar](/source/Olivier_Siegelaar), [Mitchel Steenman](/source/Mitchel_Steenman) and cox [Peter Wiersum](/source/Peter_Wiersum). Due to an injury, Siegelaar was replaced by [Reinder Lubbers](/source/Reinder_Lubbers) during the tournament.[1]
