**David Forman** is an English actor, stuntman, puppeteer and internet entrepreneur who has played several suit roles in [Jim Henson's Creature Shop](/source/Jim_Henson's_Creature_Shop), notably as the character of [Leonardo](/source/Leonardo_(Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles)) in the *[Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles](/source/Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles_(1990_film))* film (1990).[1] He also served as a stunt performer for *[The Bear](/source/The_Bear_(1988_film))* (1988), *[The NeverEnding Story III](/source/The_NeverEnding_Story_III)* (1994), *[The Flintstones](/source/The_Flintstones_(1994_film))* (1994) and *[Muppet Treasure Island](/source/Muppet_Treasure_Island)* (1996).

## Career

Forman represented [England](/source/England) on the tumbling squad of the 1980 [World Games](/source/World_Games). Soon after, he was introduced to [Rick Baker](/source/Rick_Baker_(makeup_artist)), who hired him to play an ape in *[Greystoke](/source/Greystoke:_The_Legend_of_Tarzan,_Lord_of_the_Apes)* (1984). He had also appeared, sans suit, in such films as *[Nuns on the Run](/source/Nuns_on_the_Run)* (1990) (with [Robbie Coltrane](/source/Robbie_Coltrane)) and *[Empire State](/source/Empire_State)* (1987) (with [Martin Landau](/source/Martin_Landau)). Forman has also appeared on television, notably in *[The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes](/source/Sherlock_Holmes_(1984_TV_series))* episode *[The Creeping Man](/source/The_Adventure_of_the_Creeping_Man)*.

Stunt credits include work on *[Spies Like Us](/source/Spies_Like_Us)* (1985), *[Superman IV: The Quest for Peace](/source/Superman_IV:_The_Quest_for_Peace)* (1987) and *[The World Is Not Enough](/source/The_World_Is_Not_Enough)* (1999). More recently, he served as fight arranger on *[Batman Begins](/source/Batman_Begins)* (2005) and stunt coordinator for the new [Doctor Who](/source/Doctor_Who) series.[2]
