# Dave Wareham

**David Moran Wareham** (June 28, 1924 – June 2, 1985) was an American professional [basketball](/source/Basketball) player.[1][2] He played in the [National Basketball League](/source/National_Basketball_League_(United_States)) in four games for the [Waterloo Hawks](/source/Waterloo_Hawks) during the 1948–49 season and averaged 0.8 points per game.[1][3]

Wareham was also an accomplished [middle-distance runner](/source/Middle-distance_runner) for Loras College, running the [880 yards](/source/880_yards), [mile run](/source/Mile_run), and [two miles](/source/Two_miles).[4]
