**David Polsky** is an American film and television [screenwriter](/source/Screenwriter) who created *[The Buzz on Maggie](/source/The_Buzz_on_Maggie)* and co-wrote *[Scary Movie 2](/source/Scary_Movie_2)*.[1] He has also written episodes for *[My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic](/source/My_Little_Pony%3A_Friendship_Is_Magic)* and *[Hanazuki: Full of Treasures](/source/Hanazuki%3A_Full_of_Treasures)*,[2] among other animated television series.
