In 1932 he finished fourth in the [welterweight class](/source/Boxing_at_the_1932_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_welterweight). He was not able to compete in the bronze medal bout against [Bruno Ahlberg](/source/Bruno_Ahlberg).
