# Dave Marit

**David Marit** is a Canadian politician who was elected to the [Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan](/source/Legislative_Assembly_of_Saskatchewan) in the [2016 provincial election](/source/2016_Saskatchewan_general_election).[1] He represents the electoral district of [Wood River](/source/Wood_River_(electoral_district)) as a member of the [Saskatchewan Party](/source/Saskatchewan_Party) and has been Minister of Agriculture in the [cabinet](/source/Executive_Council_of_Saskatchewan) of Premier [Scott Moe](/source/Scott_Moe) since 2018. He had previously been Minister of Highways and Infrastructure in the government of [Brad Wall](/source/Brad_Wall) from 2016 to 2018.
