# Darrell Opfer

**Darrell William Opfer** (June 17, 1941 – September 20, 2024) was an American politician who served as a member of the [Ohio House of Representatives](/source/Ohio_House_of_Representatives). He was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 1992 and retired in 1999.[3][2] Opfer died in [Port Clinton, Ohio](/source/Port_Clinton,_Ohio), on September 20, 2024, at the age of 83.[4]
