# Daniel Westermark

**Daniel Westermark** (born 6 April 1963) is a [Swedish professional golfer](/source/List_of_Swedish_professional_golfers).

Westermark enjoyed success on the [Challenge Tour](/source/Challenge_Tour) in the early 1990s where he won the 1993 [Campeonato de Castilla](/source/Campeonato_de_Castilla) and the 1994 [Centenario Copa Palmer](/source/Centenario_Copa_Palmer).[1] He also finished runner-up in the 1991 [Neuchatel Open](/source/Neuchatel_Open), 1993 [Kenya Open](/source/Kenya_Open), 1994 [Neuchatel Open](/source/Neuchatel_Open), 1994 [Tessali Open](/source/Tessali_Open), 1994 [El Corte Ingles Open](/source/El_Corte_Ingles_Open), 1996 [Is Molas Challenge](/source/Is_Molas_Challenge) and the 1998 [Volvo Finnish Open](/source/Volvo_Finnish_Open).[2]

Westermark qualified for the [1995 European Tour](/source/1995_European_Tour) and finished 165th on the Order of Merit. In total, he played 61 [European Tour](/source/European_Tour) events between [1987](/source/1987_European_Tour) and [2000](/source/2000_European_Tour), earning €46,447 in official prize money.[1]

Westermark later become the club professional at El Paraiso Golf Club in [Estepona](/source/Estepona), [Spain](/source/Spain).[1] He claimed the 16th and final card at [qualifying school](/source/Qualifying_school) in Portugal to earn conditional playing rights for the [2015 European Senior Tour](/source/2015_European_Senior_Tour) season.[1]
