# Daniel Promislow

**Daniel Promislow** is a [biogerontologist](/source/Biogerontologist) and a professor at the [University of Washington](/source/University_of_Washington). He studies [aging](/source/Ageing) through [systems biology](/source/Systems_biology) and [metabolomics](/source/Metabolomics) approaches.[1] He is a director of the Canine Longevity Consortium,[2] and heads up the [Dog Aging Project](/source/Dog_Aging_Project).
