Capecci joined the Wilmington Hammerheads in 2004 after a season with [USL Premier Development League](/source/USL_Premier_Development_League) team [Syracuse Salty Dogs](/source/Syracuse_Salty_Dogs). He started playing soccer with [Ancona Calcio](/source/Ancona_Calcio).
