# Dangon

**Dangon** is a village in the [Raikot](/source/Raikot) tehsil of [Ludhiana district](/source/Ludhiana_district) in [Punjab](/source/Punjab,_India) State, [India](/source/India).[1][2] **Dango** is a variation of the same name.[3][4] It is ancestral village of [Hindi cinema](/source/Hindi_cinema) veteran actor [Dharmendra](/source/Dharmendra), popularly known as *He-Man* of Bollywood.[5][6]
