**Dan Zeff** is a [BAFTA Award](/source/BAFTA_Award)-winning [British](/source/United_Kingdom) TV director and writer currently living and working in the UK.

He works across [drama](/source/Drama_(modern_genre)) and [comedy](/source/Comedy_television). Recent work includes the highly acclaimed *[Inside No. 9](/source/Inside_No._9)* episodes "[The Trial of Elizabeth Gadge](/source/The_Trial_of_Elizabeth_Gadge)" and "[Séance Time](/source/S%C3%A9ance_Time)", the [BBC3](/source/BBC3) comedy series *[Siblings](/source/Siblings_(TV_series))* and *[The Ice Cream Girls](/source/The_Ice_Cream_Girls)*, an award-winning three-part [psychological thriller](/source/Psychological_thriller) for [ITV](/source/ITV_(TV_network)).

His drama credits include the critically acclaimed [BBC4](/source/BBC4) film *[Hattie](/source/Hattie_(film))* (the highest rating show in BBC4's history [1]), *[Lost in Austen](/source/Lost_in_Austen)* for ITV and the 2-part *[Case Histories](/source/Case_Histories_(TV_series))* – an adaptation of [Kate Atkinson](/source/Kate_Atkinson_(writer))'s *[When Will There Be Good News?](/source/When_Will_There_Be_Good_News%3F)* starring [Jason Isaacs](/source/Jason_Isaacs), which won the Scottish Bafta for Best Television Drama in 2011.
