'''Daisy Geyser''' is a [geyser](/source/geyser) in the [Upper Geyser Basin](/source/Geothermal_areas_of_Yellowstone) of [Yellowstone National Park](/source/Yellowstone_National_Park) in the [United States](/source/United_States).

Daisy Geyser is part of the Daisy Group. It was named prior to 1890 by the [Hague Party](/source/Hague_Party).<ref>{{cite book |author=Bauer, Clyde Max |title=Yellowstone Geysers |location=Yellowstone Park, Wyoming |publisher=Haynes |year=1947 |oclc=1517713}}</ref> It erupts every 110 to 240 minutes for a period of 3 to 5 minutes and is one of the most predictable geysers in the park. Its fountain erupts at an angle to the ground and reaches a height of {{convert|75|ft}}.<ref>{{cite web|title=Daisy Geyser |work=Predicting Geysers |publisher=National Park Service |url=http://mms.nps.gov/yell/ofvec/exhibits/eruption/prediction/index.htm |url-status=dead |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20100527121831/http://mms.nps.gov/yell/ofvec/exhibits/eruption/prediction/index.htm |archivedate=2010-05-27 }}</ref> The interval between eruptions can be temporarily altered by an eruption of nearby [Splendid Geyser](/source/Splendid_Geyser). To a smaller degree, [Brilliant Pool](/source/Brilliant_Pool) and [Comet Geyser](/source/Comet_Geyser) are influenced by Splendid and Daisy.<ref>{{cite web |title=Daisy Geyser |publisher=The Geyser Observation and Study Association |url=http://www.geyserstudy.org/geyser.aspx?pGeyserNo=DAISY |access-date=2010-11-02 |archive-date=2014-02-02 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140202120703/http://www.geyserstudy.org/geyser.aspx?pGeyserNo=DAISY |url-status=dead }}</ref>

Daisy Geyser was one of the Yellowstone geysers that had its eruption interval disrupted by the [2002 Denali earthquake](/source/2002_Denali_earthquake), in [Alaska](/source/Alaska). Immediately after the quake, the interval rapidly decreased but returned to previous intervals over the course of a few weeks.<ref>{{cite journal |author=Husen S |author2=Taylor R |author3=Smith RB |author4=Healser H |title=Changes in geyser eruption behavior and remotely triggered seismicity in Yellowstone National Park produced by the 2002 M 7.9 Denali fault earthquake, Alaska |journal=Geology |year=2004 |volume=32 |pages=537–540 |doi=10.1130/G20381.1 |issue=6|bibcode=2004Geo....32..537H }}</ref>
