It was released in 1999 through [Def Jam Recordings](/source/Def_Jam_Recordings) as the second single off of the duo's first collaborative studio album *[Blackout!](/source/Blackout!_(Method_Man_%26_Redman_album))*. [Production](/source/Hip_hop_production) was handled by [Rockwilder](/source/Rockwilder). The song contains an interpolation of "[Hand on the Pump](/source/Hand_on_the_Pump)" by [Cypress Hill](/source/Cypress_Hill).
