These cover eastern [South Yorkshire](/source/South_Yorkshire) (including [Doncaster](/source/Doncaster)), north [Lincolnshire](/source/Lincolnshire) (including [Grimsby](/source/Grimsby), [Scunthorpe](/source/Scunthorpe), [Barnetby](/source/Barnetby), [Barrow upon Humber](/source/Barrow_upon_Humber), [Barton-upon-Humber](/source/Barton-upon-Humber), [Brigg](/source/Brigg), [Cleethorpes](/source/Cleethorpes), [Gainsborough](/source/Gainsborough%2C_Lincolnshire), [Immingham](/source/Immingham) and [Ulceby](/source/Ulceby%2C_North_Lincolnshire)), parts of north [Nottinghamshire](/source/Nottinghamshire) (including [Retford](/source/Retford)) and the south-west of the [East Riding of Yorkshire](/source/East_Riding_of_Yorkshire) (including [Goole](/source/Goole)), and a small part of southern [North Yorkshire](/source/North_Yorkshire).

The [S64](/source/S_postcode_area) postcode district for [Mexborough](/source/Mexborough) was earmarked as DN13, which has never been used. Otherwise, the area's districts are numbered sequentially up to DN22, then from DN31 to DN41 for Grimsby and surrounding settlements.
