'''DNA''' was the name taken by English [electronic music](/source/electronic_music) producers Nick Batt and Neal Slateford, best known for releasing a [remix](/source/remix) of [Suzanne Vega](/source/Suzanne_Vega)'s "[Tom's Diner](/source/Tom's_Diner)" in 1990.<ref name="British Hit Singles & Albums">{{cite book

As well as "Tom's Diner", the duo remixed two other Suzanne Vega tracks: "Rusted Pipe" in 1991, and a radio mix of "Rosemary" in 2000. After a brief lull, the duo reappeared with a mix of the [Loreena McKennitt](/source/Loreena_McKennitt) track "[The Mummers' Dance](/source/The_Mummers'_Dance)", which reached number one on the US ''[Billboard](/source/Billboard_(magazine))'' [Hot 100 Airplay](/source/Hot_100_Airplay_(Radio_Songs)) [chart](/source/record_chart) in 1997.

Batt worked extensively with [Goldfrapp](/source/Goldfrapp) on their albums ''[Felt Mountain](/source/Felt_Mountain)'', ''[Black Cherry](/source/Black_Cherry_(Goldfrapp_album))'' and ''[Supernature](/source/Supernature_(Goldfrapp_album))'', receiving an [Ivor Novello Award](/source/Ivor_Novello_Award) for co-writing the ''Black Cherry'' track "Strict Machine".
