# CyberFlix

**CyberFlix Incorporated** was a [computer game](/source/Video_game) company founded in 1993 by [Bill Appleton](/source/William_Appleton_(entrepreneur)). CyberFlix was based in [Knoxville](/source/Knoxville), [Tennessee](/source/Tennessee). They made many interactive story-telling games in the 1990s, but stopped any and all productions in 1998 before finally going out of business in 2006.

Two of its best known games were *[Titanic: Adventure Out of Time](/source/Titanic:_Adventure_Out_of_Time)* and *[Dust: A Tale of the Wired West](/source/Dust:_A_Tale_of_the_Wired_West)*. CyberFlix also released the games *[Skull Cracker](/source/Skull_Cracker)*, *[Redjack: Revenge of the Brethren](/source/Redjack:_Revenge_of_the_Brethren)*, *[Power Rangers Zeo](/source/Power_Rangers_Zeo) vs. the Machine Empire*, *[Lunicus](/source/Lunicus)*, and *[Jump Raven](/source/Jump_Raven)*.

CyberFlix's founder, Bill Appleton, is famous for his work with the [SuperCard](/source/SuperCard) development environment and for the early [World Builder](/source/World_Builder) adventure game production system. He also founded a company called [DreamFactory](/source/DreamFactory_(American_company)) in 1998.[1][2] DreamFactory kept the trade mark for CyberFlix registered until November 25, 2006.[3]
