# Cunupia

**Cunupia** is a town in central [Trinidad](/source/Trinidad_and_Tobago). It is part of the [Borough](/source/Regional_Corporations_and_Municipalities_of_Trinidad_and_Tobago) of [Chaguanas](/source/Chaguanas). Cunupia is just northeast of Chaguanas proper. Like Chaguanas itself, Cunupia has experienced rapid growth in recent years, especially in terms of residential developments.
