# Cromeria

***Cromeria*** is a small [genus](/source/Genus) of [fish](/source/Fish) in the family [Kneriidae](/source/Kneriidae) found in [fresh waters](/source/Fresh_water) in the [Sudan](/source/Sudan), [Mali](/source/Mali), and [Guinea](/source/Guinea) in the [Nile](/source/Nile_River) and [Niger Rivers](/source/Niger_River) of Africa. These reach a length of up to 4.4 cm. The currently recognized species are:[2][3]
