==History==
From 1815 to 1947, Crinitz was part of the [Prussian](/source/Prussia) [Province of Brandenburg](/source/Province_of_Brandenburg). From 1952 to 1990, it was part of the [Bezirk Cottbus](/source/Bezirk_Cottbus) of [East Germany](/source/East_Germany).
