'''Creeting St Mary''' is a village and [civil parish](/source/civil_parish) in the [Mid Suffolk](/source/Mid_Suffolk) district of [Suffolk](/source/Suffolk) in eastern England. Sandwiched between the [A14](/source/A14_road_(England)) and [A140](/source/A140_road) to the north of [Needham Market](/source/Needham_Market), the parish also includes the hamlet of Creeting Bottoms. ==History==
Formerly three parishes, [Creeting All Saints](/source/Creeting_All_Saints) and {{ill|Creeting St Olave|qid=Q77437607|short=yes}} were consolidated into Creeting St Mary on 25 March 1884. ==Heritage==
The [buck of a windmill](/source/Creeting_St_Mary_Windmill) survives in the village. It was used as a [dovecote](/source/dovecote) after ceasing to be a [windmill](/source/windmill).

==Amenities==
The village has a voluntarily aided [Church of England](/source/Church_of_England) [primary school](/source/primary_school) with 80–90 pupils. The Victorian building of the school, still in use for some classes, dates from 1871.
