**Craig Clark** (born 1960 in [Santa Monica, California](/source/Santa_Monica,_California)) and raised in [Malibu, California](/source/Malibu,_California), is an American [animator](/source/Animator), an [art rock](/source/Art_rock), [darkwave](/source/Darkwave) musician ([Chorus of Souls](/source/Chorus_of_Souls) on Fluxus Records), a [comic book artist](/source/Comic_book_artist) ([Nemesister](/source/Nemesister) and Astrothrill), and an album cover artist ([The Nymphs](/source/The_Nymphs) on [Geffen Records](/source/Geffen_Records)).

## Biography

Clark began his career as a child actor at the age of 8, when he starred in an [educational film](/source/Educational_film) called "Forgive and Forget" directed by voice actor [Shep Menken](/source/Shep_Menken) in 1968. Switching to animation at age 14, he was discovered by animators Corny Cole ([Looney Tunes](/source/Looney_Tunes)) and Duane Crowther (*[Yellow Submarine](/source/Yellow_Submarine_(film))*), and was mentored by longtime Disney animator [Amby Paliwoda](/source/Amby_Paliwoda) (*[Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs](/source/Snow_White_and_the_Seven_Dwarfs_(1937_film))*)at [Duck Soup Producktions](/source/Noble_(company)). Clark was one of the original animation and layout artists on the first three seasons of *[The Simpsons](/source/The_Simpsons)* at [Klasky Csupo](/source/Klasky_Csupo), and has gone on to animate on various other animated projects such as several *[Peanuts](/source/Peanuts)* TV specials for [Bill Melendez](/source/Bill_Melendez) productions, and many [special effects](/source/Special_effects) feature films, such as *[Forrest Gump](/source/Forrest_Gump)*, *[The Mask](/source/The_Mask_(1994_film))*, *[Godzilla](/source/Godzilla_(1998_film))*, *[An American Tail: Fievel Goes West](/source/An_American_Tail:_Fievel_Goes_West)*, *[Big Trouble in Little China](/source/Big_Trouble_in_Little_China)*, *[Cool World](/source/Cool_World)*, *[Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure](/source/Bill_and_Ted's_Excellent_Adventure)*, *[Mortal Kombat (1995 film)](/source/Mortal_Kombat_(1995_film))* and *[Poltergeist II: The Other Side](/source/Poltergeist_II:_The_Other_Side)*.

Clark has produced and directed [The Kustomonsters](/source/The_Kustomonsters) animated show for the web and TV through Cheeky Entertainment, and has aired on AMGTV in U.S. syndication and also streaming TV service OSI74 Roku. Clark also released three Kustomonsters feature films currently running on [Tubi](/source/Tubi), [Amazon Prime](/source/Amazon_Prime), OSI74 [Roku](/source/Roku), and more. A fourth Kustomonsters movie is in production called Kustomonsters 4; Bikini Wars.
