# Cory Withrow

**Cory Withrow** (born April 5, 1975) is an American former professional [football](/source/American_football) player who was a [center](/source/Center_(American_football)) in the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League) (NFL). He was signed by the [Minnesota Vikings](/source/Minnesota_Vikings) as an [undrafted free agent](/source/Undrafted_free_agent) in 1999. He played [college football](/source/College_football) for the [Washington State Cougars](/source/Washington_State_Cougars_football).

Withrow has also played for the [San Diego Chargers](/source/San_Diego_Chargers) and [St. Louis Rams](/source/St._Louis_Rams).

## Early life

Withrow attended [Mead High School](/source/Mead_High_School) in [Spokane, Washington](/source/Spokane,_Washington),[2][3] and was a [letterman](/source/Letterman_(sports)) in [football](/source/High_school_football), [basketball](/source/Basketball), and [baseball](/source/Baseball). In football, he was an All-State honoree as an [offensive lineman](/source/Offensive_lineman) and as a [defensive lineman](/source/Defensive_lineman). In baseball, he was a three-year letterwinner. Cory Withrow graduated from Mead High School in 1993.

## College career

Withrow played [college football](/source/College_football) at [Washington State University](/source/Washington_State_University).

## Professional career

Withrow previously played for the [Minnesota Vikings](/source/Minnesota_Vikings) and later signed with the [San Diego Chargers](/source/San_Diego_Chargers) where he played in a backup role to center [Nick Hardwick](/source/Nick_Hardwick_(American_football)). Withrow suffered an injury while with the Chargers that led to the signing of veteran center [Jeremy Newberry](/source/Jeremy_Newberry). He was eventually released when he agreed to an injury settlement with the Chargers.

### Seattle Seahawks

Withrow signed with the [Seattle Seahawks](/source/Seattle_Seahawks) on July 31, 2009. He was placed on season-ending [injured reserve](/source/Injured_reserve) on September 2.

## The King's Craft

In the early 2010s, Withrow founded The King's Craft Coffee Co, which is based in Poway, CA.[4]
