**Cory Bay** is an arm of the [Foxe Basin](/source/Foxe_Basin) in the [Qikiqtaaluk Region](/source/Qikiqtaaluk_Region) of [Nunavut](/source/Nunavut), Canada. It is located on northeastern [Foxe Peninsula](/source/Foxe_Peninsula), in western [Baffin Island](/source/Baffin_Island). The closest community is [Kinngait](/source/Kinngait), situated 163 km (101 mi) to the south,[2] while [Nuwata](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nuwata,_Nunavut&action=edit&redlink=1), a former settlement, is situated about 148 km (92 mi) to the west.[3]

The [Great Plain of the Koukdjuak](/source/Great_Plain_of_the_Koukdjuak) stretches from Cory Bay to [Hantzsch Bay](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hantzsch_Bay&action=edit&redlink=1), and then inland.[4]
