# Corrie!

***Corrie!*** is a comedy stage play written[1] in 2010 by award-winning playwright and *[Coronation Street](/source/Coronation_Street)* scriptwriter [Jonathan Harvey](/source/Jonathan_Harvey_(playwright)).[2][3] The play premiered at [The Lowry](/source/The_Lowry) in [Salford Quays](/source/Salford_Quays) in August 2010.[4] Written as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of ITV's long-running soap opera *Coronation Street*, the play was scheduled to tour the UK in 2011.[needs update][5] Guest star narrators include actors from the original TV series such as [Roy Barraclough](/source/Roy_Barraclough), [Ken Morley](/source/Ken_Morley) and [Gaynor Faye](/source/Gaynor_Faye).[6]

The production was presented by [ITV Studios](/source/ITV_Studios) and Phil McIntyre Entertainments.[needs update]
