# Cool Spring, Delaware

**Cool Spring** is an [unincorporated community](/source/Unincorporated_area) in [Sussex County](/source/Sussex_County,_Delaware), in the [U.S. state](/source/U.S._state) of [Delaware](/source/Delaware).[1] It is located on [U.S. Route 9](/source/U.S._Route_9_in_Delaware)[2] and is about five miles from both [Nassau](/source/Nassau,_Delaware) and [Jimtown](/source/Jimtown,_Delaware).

## History

Cool Spring's population was 200 in 1890,[3] 193 in 1900,[4] and 131 in 1925.[5]
