**Connaught Hospital** is the principal adult referral hospital in [Sierra Leone](/source/Sierra_Leone).[1][2]

Connaught Hospital was opened in 1912 by the [Duke of Connaught](/source/Duke_of_Connaught), [Prince Arthur](/source/Prince_Arthur,_Duke_of_Connaught_and_Strathearn). President [Kabbah](/source/Kabbah) re-opened the hospital on May 5, 2006, alongside the [Princess Christian Missionary Hospital](/source/Princess_Christian_Missionary_Hospital) (PCMH).
