- "AFX 114" has the same drum rhythm as "Phlange Phace", which can be found on Aphex Twin's early *[Xylem Tube EP](/source/Xylem_Tube_EP)* and the *[Classics](/source/Classics_(Aphex_Twin_album))* compilation.

- "Fantasia" allegedly contains samples from *Seka's Fantasies*, the same pornographic film that was sampled for "Come on You Slags!" from James' *[...I Care Because You Do](/source/...I_Care_Because_You_Do)* album.

- "Italic Eyeball" samples [Julie Andrews](/source/Julie_Andrews) as [Maria von Trapp](/source/Maria_von_Trapp) in *[The Sound of Music](/source/The_Sound_of_Music_(film))* as she sings "Perhaps I had a wicked childhood" (forwards and in reverse)

- "Humanoid Must Not Escape" features distorted samples from the [David Bowie](/source/David_Bowie) film *[The Man Who Fell to Earth](/source/The_Man_Who_Fell_to_Earth_(film))* (the "Let's fuck!" and "Yeah yeah!") and the [arcade game](/source/Arcade_game) *[Berzerk](/source/Berzerk_(video_game))*.

- "We Are the Music Makers (Hardcore Mix)" samples [Gene Wilder](/source/Gene_Wilder) from the 1971 film *[Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory](/source/Willy_Wonka_%26_the_Chocolate_Factory)*.

- "The Garden of Linmiri" was featured in a Gerard de Thame-directed television advertisement for [Pirelli](/source/Pirelli)'s P6000 tyres featuring [Carl Lewis](/source/Carl_Lewis).[3] It previously appeared on the 1993 Disco B *Energy '93* compilation.[4]
