**Community March** ([Chinese](/source/Traditional_Chinese_characters): 社區前進) was a district-based political group formed in late 2017 in [Hong Kong](/source/Hong_Kong) by a group of [pro-democracy](/source/Pro-democracy_camp) social activists.

## History

Initiated by former chairwoman of the [Labour Party](/source/Labour_Party_(Hong_Kong)) [Suzanne Wu](/source/Suzanne_Wu), the group was actively planning to field candidates in the [2019 District Council elections](/source/2019_Hong_Kong_local_elections) in [Yau Tsim Mong](/source/Yau_Tsim_Mong_District_Council) and [Sham Shui Po](/source/Sham_Shui_Po_District_Council),[1] after their unsuccessful first attempt in [Tai Nan](/source/Tai_Nan_(constituency)) by-election.[2] All 5 of its candidates were elected in the pro-democracy landslide victory, became the largest party in the Yau Tsim Mong District Council.[2]

The group announced their disbandment on 8 September 2021.[2]
