# Commodore Park

**Commodore Park** is a public park on the [Magnolia](/source/Magnolia,_Seattle) side of the [Ballard Locks](/source/Ballard_Locks), near the [Salmon Bay Bridge](/source/Salmon_Bay_Bridge),[1] in [Seattle](/source/Seattle), Washington.[2][3]

The park has a heron habitat.[4][5][6] In *Noms* magazine's list of the nine best parks in the city "to hang out with your loved ones", Commodore Park was deemed Seattle's best park with scenic canal views.[7]
