The **Colville Channel** is one of three channels connecting the [Hauraki Gulf / Tīkapa Moana](/source/Hauraki_Gulf_%2F_T%C4%ABkapa_Moana) with the Pacific Ocean to the northeast of [Auckland](/source/Auckland), New Zealand.[1] It is the easternmost channel, lying between the southern end of [Great Barrier Island](/source/Great_Barrier_Island) and [Cape Colville](/source/Cape_Colville) at the northern tip of the [Coromandel Peninsula](/source/Coromandel_Peninsula). The tiny [Channel Island](/source/Channel_Island_(New_Zealand)) lies in the centre of the channel.

The other two channels are the [Cradock Channel](/source/Cradock_Channel) and the [Jellicoe Channel](/source/Jellicoe_Channel).
