***Colotis euippe*** is a [butterfly](/source/Butterfly) of the family [Pieridae](/source/Pieridae) that is found in the [Afrotropical realm](/source/Afrotropical_realm).

## Description

The [wingspan](/source/Wingspan) is 35–45 mm. The adults fly year-round.[2]

Adults in [Witsand](/source/Witsand) offer reduced black markings in their summer forms, differing from specimens from other regions.[3]

## Habitat and behavior

The [larvae](/source/Larva) feed on *[Maerua](/source/Maerua)*, *[Capparis](/source/Capparis)*, *[Cadaba](/source/Cadaba)*, and *[Boscia](/source/Boscia)* species.[2]
