# Collins Harbour

**Collins Harbour** ([62.17394°S 58.82706°W](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=-62.17394_-58.82706)) is a [bay](/source/Bay) indenting the south coast of [King George Island](/source/King_George_Island_(Antarctica)) immediately east of [Fildes Peninsula](/source/Fildes_Peninsula), in the [South Shetland Islands](/source/South_Shetland_Islands). The name appears on a chart by Scottish geologist [David Ferguson](/source/David_Ferguson_(geologist)), who roughly charted the bay in 1913–14, but may reflect an earlier naming.

[Bellingshausen Station](/source/Bellingshausen_Station) is located here. [Nebles Point](/source/Nebles_Point) lies at the west side of the harbor entrance.
