***Collaea*** is a genus of [flowering plants](/source/Flowering_plant) in the [legume](/source/Legume) family, [Fabaceae](/source/Fabaceae). It belongs to subfamily [Faboideae](/source/Faboideae) and tribe [Diocleae](/source/Diocleae).[2] It includes five species native to the southern tropical South America, ranging from Peru to northeastern Brazil and northeastern Argentina.[1]
