# Colin Fagan

**Colin Fagan** is a Jamaican politician from the [People's National Party](/source/People's_National_Party) (PNP) who represented [Saint Catherine South Eastern](/source/Saint_Catherine_South_Eastern) in the [Parliament of Jamaica](/source/Parliament_of_Jamaica).[1]

## Career

Colin Fagan became the first deputy mayor of [Portmore](/source/Portmore,_Saint_Catherine) in 2003.[2] Fagan was elected in the [2007 Jamaican general election](/source/2007_Jamaican_general_election) and re-elected in [2011](/source/2011_Jamaican_general_election) and [2016](/source/2016_Jamaican_general_election). He was appointed [Minister of State](/source/Minister_of_State) at the Ministry of Local Government and Community Development.[3] In the [2020 Jamaican general election](/source/2020_Jamaican_general_election) he was unseated by [Robert Miller](/source/Robert_Miller_(Jamaican_politician)) from the [Jamaica Labour Party](/source/Jamaica_Labour_Party).[4]
