The '''Clab''', also known as {{lang|swe|Centralt mellanlager för använt kärnbränsle}} ([Swedish](/source/Swedish_language) for 'Central holding storage for spent nuclear fuel'), is an interim [radioactive waste](/source/radioactive_waste) repository located at [Oskarshamn Nuclear Power Plant](/source/Oskarshamn_Nuclear_Power_Plant)<ref name="SKB">{{cite web |url=http://www.skb.com/our-operations/clab/ |title=Clab – Central Interim Storage Facility for Spent Nuclear Fuel |publisher=SKB-Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Company |website=skb.com |access-date=February 12, 2021}}</ref> about 25 km north of [Oskarshamn](/source/Oskarshamn). Clab used to be owned by [Oskarshamnsverkets Kraftgrupp AB](/source/OKG_AB) (OKG) but is now owned by Svensk Kärnbränslehantering Aktiebolag (SKB). It was opened in 1985 for the storage of spent [nuclear fuel](/source/nuclear_fuel) from all [Swedish](/source/Sweden) [nuclear power plant](/source/nuclear_power_plant)s. The fuel is stored for 30 to 40 years, in preparation for final storage.

The facility currently contains approximately 7,300 tons of [high-level waste](/source/high-level_waste), submerged in 8 meters of water, in pools 30 meters below the surface.<ref name="SKB" /> Contaminated reactor components, such as [control rod](/source/control_rod)s, are also stored at the facility.<ref>{{cite web |url=http://www.stralsakerhetsmyndigheten.se/In-English/About-the-Swedish-Radiation-Safety-Authority1/Our-work-to-enhance-safety-/Facilities-in-Sweden/Clab-/ |title=Clab |publisher=Swedish Radiation Safety Authority |access-date=September 17, 2017}}</ref> Waste produced from Sweden's nuclear power plants will continue be stored at the facility until the [Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Company](/source/Swedish_Nuclear_Fuel_and_Waste_Management_Company) can complete construction of a more permanent storage site at [Forsmark](/source/Forsmark).

The facility contains an in-pool station where passive gamma-measurements can be done on spent nuclear fuel.<ref>{{Cite journal|last1=Vaccaro|first1=S.|last2=Tobin|first2=S.
