 Cisoka District, Tangerang

**Cisoka** is a village and an administrative district (*kecamatan*) located in the [Tangerang Regency](/source/Tangerang_Regency) of [Banten](/source/Banten) Province on [Java](/source/Java_(island)), [Indonesia](/source/Indonesia). The district covers a land area of 31.21 km2, and had a population of 78,854 at the 2010 Census[2] and 96,433 at the 2020 Census;[3] the official estimate as at mid 2024 was 103,214 (comprising 52,903 males and 50,311 females).[1] The administrative centre is at the village of Cisoka.

## History

Cisoka was previously part of [Tigaraksa](/source/Tigaraksa) district before it was split off from the western part of that district in 1983.
