==Career==
Can was promoted to [Galatasaray](/source/Galatasaray_S.K._(football_team))'s first team from the youth team in 2005. He played in for the first team in friendly matches but did not play in any official matches. He was an unused substitute in Galatasaray's [UEFA Cup](/source/UEFA_Cup) first round loss to [Tromsø IL](/source/Troms%C3%B8_IL).<ref>{{cite web|publisher=Pas-Fotomaç|title=Cihan Can (G.Antep Bld'li futbolcu)|url=http://www.fotomac.com.tr/2007/04/26/yaz1692-50150-109.html|language=Turkish|date=2007-04-26}}</ref>

He was loaned out to [Sakaryaspor](/source/Sakaryaspor) in the 2005–06 mid-season break. After a half season spell, he returned to Galatasaray. Can was again loaned out, to [Mersin İdman Yurdu](/source/Mersin_%C4%B0dman_Yurdu), for the 2006–07 season.
