# Cigher

The **Cigher** is a left [tributary](/source/Tributary) of the river [Crișul Alb](/source/Cri%C8%99ul_Alb) in [Romania](/source/Romania). It discharges into the Crișul Alb in [Sintea Mică](/source/Sintea_Mic%C4%83), near [Zărand](/source/Z%C4%83rand).[1] Its length is 56 km (35 mi) and its basin size is 856 km2 (331 sq mi). The Tauț dam is located on the Cigher.
