The '''Chunwon''' ([Korean](/source/Korean_language): 천원전, [Hanja](/source/Hanja): 天元戰) was a [Go competition](/source/Go_competitions) in [Korea](/source/Korea). Begun in 1996, it was held nineteen times and was discontinued after 2015.

The Chunwon Cup was the equivalent to the [Tengen](/source/Tengen_(Go)) in [Japan](/source/Japan). This tournament replaced the [Baccus Cup](/source/Baccus_Cup). The sponsors were [Far East Pharmaceuticals](/source/Far_East_Pharmaceuticals) and [Daily Economic Newspaper](/source/Daily_Economic_Newspaper). The [komi](/source/komidashi) was 6.5 points. The time limits were 5 hours in the final, 4 in the main knockout, and 3 in the preliminaries.
